Rotherham are confident of having defender Johnny Mullins available for the trip to Northampton.

The centre-half was withdrawn at half-time of Saturday's curtain-raiser with Burton after suffering a knock from a heavy challenge and will be assessed on Monday, though the early signs are encouraging. Mark Bradley, who came on for Mullins, is the obvious choice to replace him, with Kari Arnason continuing at centre-back. Right-backs Dale Tonge (Achilles) and Nicky Hunt (hamstring) are still not fit, though Tonge did return to training on Monday and could be in contention for the weekend trip to Chesterfield. Boss Steve Evans is unlikely to make any other changes for the game after his much-fancied Millers got off to a flying start at New York Stadium, with strikers Daniel Nardiello and Kayode Odejayi both opening their accounts. "It will be as hard a fixture as we face at any time this season," Evans said of the trip to Sixfields. "They have a certain style of play but I expect my players to stand up to the physical battle we get."
