Eorl Crabtree is delighted Huddersfield have rediscovered the winning habit but insists they must maintain it going into the play-offs.
The Giants made a fantastic start to the season and were fancied to make a real impact during the regular season and the play-offs, only to suffer a huge mid-season slump. The wretched run ultimately spelt the end of Nathan Brown's time at the helm but the Giants have turned it around with successive victories to move them within two points of St Helens in third, with four games remaining. The players are seemingly getting to grips with what new boss Paul Anderson expects of them and Crabtree is now looking to make a real impact in the end of season play-offs. "I think the biggest thing now is building momentum," he told the Huddersfield Examiner. "We've won a couple of games and we're learning and adapting our style of play to suit the new system that's in place. "We're also enjoying everything we're doing and, hopefully, we can take that on into the last few games, gain some momentum and have a good run in the play-offs. "It's important you hit your best form at this stage of the year, and the signs are looking really promising on that front right now."
