Bradford Bulls administrator Brendan Guilfoyle says he has no news on any potential new investors for the financially-stricken club.

The plight of the Super League outfit remains extremely perilious and Guilfoyle now has just a week to find someone to save them from being wound up. Bradford are currently in administration after they failed to find £1.2million that would have seem them through to the end of the season and the picture at Odsal is looking increasingly bleak. "I have nothing to report, which is disappointing," Guilfoyle said. "I think next week I'm going to have to start banging down a few doors to try and convince people that the Bulls are a good proposition." Reports say the Rugby Football League may be able to hand them some cash in advance from central funds but that is by no means a certainty and the governing body have this week met with concerned players and club officials, who are due to be paid, for talks on the future and possible implications should no new investment be found.
