Hull FC seal free agent swoop

Hull FC have signed free agent Ryan McGoldrick after losing 10 first-team players to injury.

Forwards Danny Tickle and Sam Moa suffered season-ending arm injuries in the win over Huddersfield last time out and coach Peter Gentle has moved to sign 31-year-old utility man McGoldrick to bolster his options.
McGoldrick made 132 appearances for the Tigers after joining from NRL side Cronulla Sharks, where he also worked under Gentle.
The Australian left Castleford earlier this month after handing in a transfer request and has now been handed a short-term deal by injury-hit Hull FC.
