Brian McDermott says his Leeds players will be out for revenge when they meet St Helens at Headingley on Monday.
The Rhinos were previously humbled 46-6 by the Merseysiders, who were playing their first match since the departure of coach Royce Simmons. The Yorkshiremen never really got into the game, finding themselves 18-0 down after just 12 minutes and were truly outclassed by an inspired Saints outfit. Coach McDermott says the defeat at Langtree Park still stings the champions and has admitted that he'll use the pain of that night to motivate his side going into Monday's match. "We are talking about the last time," conceded McDermott. "It wasn't a great day. They had every reason to be very, very good that day and we had a combination of an off-day and some key people missing. "We've taken that into account, but overall we under-performed and that's something we want to get right. There's certain things we want to put right throughout the year and this is one of those."
