Wigan Warriors will have to cope without scrum-half Thomas Leuluai for the next two months after he broke his leg on Saturday.
Leuluai was captaining the Exiles in their International Orgin clash with England at Langtree Park but didn't finish the game after twisting awkwardly on the wet pitch during the second half. As a result the Warriors will have to cope without their Kiwi star man during a crucial part of the season, with Leuluai ruled out of the Challenge Cup semi-final with Leeds on July 14, while he would also be a doubt for the final on August 25 if Wigan get through. "It is a blow for Tommy and for the club," Wigan coach Shaun Wane said. "But the results of the scan are a lot better than I expected. He will play again this year. "The injury is a clean break whick will mean a couple of months on the sidelines and we look forward to his return to the side at the business end of the season." The only good news for Wigan is that Leuluai's half-back partner Brett Finch has been given a clean bill of health after being forced to pull out of the game.
