Leeds Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire has admitted he is excited by the prospect of the Challenge Cup draw on Tuesday.

The Super League champions manged to scrape past Salford City Reds 16-10 in the fifth round of the competition, having convincingly beaten Wakefield Wildcats in the previous stage. Leeds fell just short of lifting the Challenge Cup for the first time since 1999 when they finished runners-up to Wigan Warriors in the final at Wembley Stadium last season. The West Yorkshire outfit are looking to go one step further this season and McGuire is looking forward to the quarter-final draw, when Leeds will be paired with one of Huddersfield Giants, Catalans Dragons, Wigan Warriors, St Helens, Warrington Wolves, London Broncos or Leigh Centurions. He told the club's official website: "We're looking forward to the draw. "Any tie in the last eight is going to be tough. "There are going to be some mouth-watering tussles there so we're all looking forward to it."
