Hull KR have swooped for North Queensland Cowboys forward Cory Paterson who is looking to bring silverware to the club.
Paterson has impressed during his time in the NRL with the Cowboys and now the 24-year-old Australian has penned a two-year deal with the Super League outfit. Robins head coach Craig Sandercock has worked with the forward in the past during their time at the Newcastle Knights and the pair will be reunited at Craven Park. Paterson is looking forward to joining up with his new side next season and is determined to bring success to the East Riding club, as they hope to build for the future. He said to BBC Radio Humberside: "I'm not coming over here to make up the numbers, I want to win a championship. "I wouldn't have signed here unless I was confident in the squad and the coach and I'm looking forward to it."
