Warrington coach Tony Smith heaped the praise on Stefan Ratchford after he scored two tries on his return from injury at Wakefield.
Ratchford had been on the sidelines since March with a shoulder injury but played a big part in Warrington's 42-12 win at Wakefield. Smith was quick to praise the former Salford star, who helped himself to two tries as Warrington recovered from a slow start to comfortably see off the Wildcats. Smith told the BBC: "I thought Stefan did a great job. "I threw him in at the deep end but he's been training with such enthusiasm for the last few weeks that I knew he would do a good job. He was jumping out of his skin to play." Ryan Atkins, one of Warrington's stand out players to date this season, grabbed a hat trick and Chris Riley also scored two tries on Sunday.
