Evans injury woes eased
Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea believes Nick Evans should only be out for a matter of weeks with an ankle injury.
Having hobbled off during Quins' 40-13 victory over Biarritz in the Heineken Cup on Saturday, there were fears the New Zealander could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Seeing the 32-year-old in crutches after the game did not help concerns surrounding the influential fly-half but O'Shea is confident the injury is not as bad as first feared and precautionary measures are being used to make sure the player returns to action soon.
He said: "Nick will have his foot in a boot for a little while and we'll see what it's like.
"There's no break but there's a little bit of damage. We need to wait 24-48 hours and get it scanned.
"He won't be available against Connacht next Saturday, that's for sure, but it will be weeks rather than months."
