Lynagh on road to recovery

Australia legend Michael Lynagh has been released from hospital after suffering a stroke and has started the long road to recovery.

The 48-year-old was rushed to hospital in Brisbane two weeks ago after complaining of blurred vision and struggling with his co-ordination.
Initial details were sketchy but it later emerged that the former Australia international fly-half had suffered a 'cerebellar and occipital lobe stroke' which was caused by a blocked vertebral artery.
The 1991 World Cup winner was placed on the critical list but has now been discharged from hospital just a fortnight after being admitted.
And the popular Sky Sports pundit revealed via Twitter on Tuesday that he is upbeat about his recovery but expects it to be a long process.
"Almost exactly two weeks after my stroke, I have been released from hospital," he tweeted. "A long way to go, but a big step in the right direction."
Lynagh captained Australia from 1993 to 1995 and held the world points scoring record when he retired with 911, and was a major player for the side when they lifted the World Cup 21 years ago.
