New Zealand sealed the inaugural Rugby Championship title with a 54-15 win over Argentina on Saturday.
The Pumas had spoken with confidence about their chances of claiming a famous upset in La Plata and they got off to the perfect start thanks to an earlier Martin Landajo try. However, the All Blacks took control following Aaron Smith's try and proceeded to dominated the match, with Cory Jane finishing with a hat-trick, Julian Savea grabbing a brace and Ma'a Nonu also touching down. The Kiwis now travel to South Africa for their final game of the tournament next weekend looking to preserve their 100% record and captain Richie McCaw says he's been delighted with how they've performed so far in the tournament. "When we started out four or six weeks ago, the goal was to put last year behind us. We've got the tag of being world champions and we needed to play like them," he told a post-match news conference. "To secure the Rugby Championship was obviously the big goal and it's nice to be able to do that, but I think tonight to put out that performance is something the guys are pretty happy about."
