Northampton boss Jim Mallinder has revealed his is looking forward to seeing James Wilson in the green, black and gold next season.
The East Midlands outfit have snapped up the 28-year-old New Zealander, who has impressed with both the Highlanders and the Chiefs in the Super Rugby Championship Down Under.
Mallinder was delighted to secure the services of Wilson earlier this week and has revealed his excitement at seeing the Kiwi centre in action next term.
He said: "James is an experienced player who has shown his abilities on both sides of the world.
"He reads a game well, brings other players around him into the play and has a strong kicking game too.
"We've been impressed with what we've seen of him and believe he'll fit into our patterns of play and give us options."
