Samoan prop Logovi'i Mulipola has agreed to prolong his stay with Leicester Tigers beyond the end of the season.

The Tigers swooped to hand Mulipola a short-term deal at the turn of the year to cover for Dan Cole and Martin Castrogiovanni during the 2012 Six Nations. And the Samoan international, who made his debut against Wasps in January, has become a firm favourite with the Welford Road faithful which has prompted the Aviva Premiership side to offer him extended terms. On the deal, Tigers boss Richard Cockerill said: "Logo came here as an international with Samoa but with no experience of European rugby or professional club rugby. He has settled into the Leicester Tigers set-up very well and he is working hard with us." In addition to Mulipola's deal the Tigers also extended the contract of full-back Niall Morris, whose versatility across the back three has been a boost to the side since he arrived from Leinster last summer.
