Backs Liam Williams and Andy Fenby have both signed contract extensions with RaboDirect PRO12 outfit Scarlets.
Full-back Williams, 21, who won his first Wales cap against the Barbarians recently, has penned a three-year contract while wing Fenby has agreed just a 12-month extension. Williams, who has managed eight tries in 26 appearances for Scarlets so far, is very highly rated by the Welsh side and head coach Simon Easterby believes he will only improve as time progresses. "It's great to secure one of the Scarlets' most talented young players on a long-term contract - Liam has impressed everyone with his skills and commitment last year and we're sure he'll only get better," he said. The chance to secure Fenby, who has scored 11 tries in 50 appearances during his time at Parc y Scarlets, was also one Easterby did not want to pass up and he is pleased with the direction the club appears to be heading in. He added: "It's important to secure the talent and commitment of these guys within our Scarlets squad to keep continuity and push forward our performances next season."
