London Wasps have enlisted the help of rugby league coach Brian Noble in an attempt to improve their defence.
Despite signing a number of new players in the summer, Dai Young's men have struggled this season, winning just once and conceding a number of weak tries. Having famously turned to Shaun Edwards to solve their defensive issues under previous boss Warren Gatland, they have now brought in Noble to help them sure up their leaky rearguard. The 51-year-old built his success at the Bradford Bulls on a strong defence and Young believes his experience could make a huge difference to his side's fortunes this season. "I have known known and respected Brian for a long time," the Wasps coach said. "He has taken two short sessions with the lads over the past few weeks, and he will come in sporadically during the season. "His sessions will offer something a bit different as the season goes on."
