Wales centre Jonathan Davies says his success over the last 12 months has only made him more determined to improve.
The Scarlets' star has been one of his country's stand-out performers in the last year and played a pivotal role in their Six Nations Grand Slam during the spring. He continued his form during Wales' recent unsuccessful tour of Australia and is now being mentioned as a possible starter for the British Lions next summer. The 24-year-old has long been tipped to be a star but believes a change in attitude has been the key influence on his improvement over the last 12 months. "I changed my work ethic because I thought that was an issue," he said. "Previously, I had a view that when we finished training, I had done enough. "So, to improve, I took it on myself to do the extras, to work on the areas of my game I want to get better."
