Chris Ashton feels his close season switch to Saracens will help him rediscover his best rugby after a disappointing last few months.
The England international previously played with Aviva Premiership rivals Northampton, but after spending four seasons at Franklin's Gardens, he suffered a significant dip in form.
This saw him almost lose his place in the international side and Ashton has admitted he had to take a hard look at himself, following a string of indifferent displays for both club and country.
This prompted him to opt for a change of scenery and the 25-year-old believes Sarries' more relaxed approach will help him rediscover the form that made him the country's most potent attacking threat.
"It's been really easy for me, this is a very welcoming club," he said. "All the lads have been welcoming and it's a good changing room here. Everyone has been perfect with me.
"Training here is pretty much completely the opposite to how things were at Northampton, because Saracens is a very relaxed place and things were pretty full on at Northampton," he added.
