Worcester wing Nikki Walker says he is looking to put his injury nightmare behind him and prove his class during the upcoming season.
The Scotland international has missed almost a year of action after suffering anterior cruciate damage during his country's World Cup warm-up game against Italy last summer. The powerful star is now back to full fitness and is looking to help the Warriors rise up the league after a difficult few seasons. The Warriors finished a lowly 10th in the last campaign and, after recently moving to Sixways from the Ospreys, Walker is determined to make up for lost time by giving his new side the firepower they have so desperately lacked. "I have always thought it can be good to move to a new club," Walker admitted. "It's something new and you have to improve all the time to stay in the team. "By coming here I hope it will do the same again and give me another boost and kick-on. It's been good to come in and there are a lot of new signings alongside me. It's been easy to fit in and get that excitement going."
