Russia striker Aleksandr Kerzhakov was disappointed with his side's inability to find a winning goal in the clash with Poland.
Despite the result, Dick Advocaat's side are still in a healthy position in Group A and only need a draw against Greece in their final group game to qualify for the quarter finals.
Kerzhakov though reckons if his side had displayed a more cutting edge against the co-hosts, they could already have been in the quarters.
"We just lacked the killer pass," he said. "We counter attacked well and there were moments of 'four on four' or 'three on three' but we couldn't finish them."
