Ayr duo Michael Moffat and Ross Robertson have penned new deals with the recently-relegated club.
Mark Roberts, who was appointed manager at Somerset Park last month, is beginning to build his squad for next season's Division Two campaign after the club lost out in the play-offs to Airdrie United and has begun by tying down two players. The 36-year-old boss is delighted the pair have signed on with the club. He said: "I believe that Michael can be a 20 goal a season striker and that Ross can support him in achieving that. Ross has not played much as a striker for Ayr as yet but I see that as his natural position. "We are looking to bounce back to the First Division at the first attempt and these guys will help us do that." Striker Moffat, 27, moved to Ayr from Girvan in January 2011 and has since scored 18 times in 74 appearances, while Robertson came through the Honest Men's youth setup.
