Defensive headache for McPherson

Queen of the South manager Gus McPherson is struggling to name his defence to face Falkirk on Saturday due to a spate of injuries.

The Doonhamers boss lost another two defenders in the battling 1-1 draw with Dundee on Tuesday night. Craig Reid went off with an ankle injury and John Potter suffered concussion to leave McPherson saying, "It was a good point for us but it looks like an expensive one as both players are struggling for Saturday. "We will give them every opportunity to make it but they will need assessed by our medical people before I can pick them."
