Dundee fans sold club to Baird

New Dundee signing John Baird says the club's fans played a major role in his switch from Raith Rovers.

Baird makes the move to Dens Park following two seasons at Stark's Park. The 26-year-old striker began his career with Clyde before spells at St Mirren, Montrose and Airdrie United. "I'm absolutely delighted to be here, it's a massive club and there's a big support who get behind the team," said Baird. "I remember the crowds Dundee brought to Stark's Park and the game when Neil McCann scored the winner, the fans were unbelievable and that was a massive factor in my coming here."
