Dunfermline boss Jim Jefferies was pleased with the way his side performed in the 2-1 friendly victory over Berwick Rangers.
The Scottish Division Three outfit defeated Livingston 2-1 on Saturday and got off to the perfect start against the Pars, taking the lead through John Ferguson in the third minute.
However, Dunfermline hit back and equalised courtesy of a Andy Kirk spot-kick, before substitute Andy Barrowman struck 10 minutes from time to hand Jefferies' men the win.
"We played some really good football and we should have beaten them by a lot more. Andy Kirk should have had four goals. We created chances galore. There was quality play with zip and the workrate was far better. I thought it was great tonight," said Jefferies.
"This was against a team that gave Livingston a hard game and the difference we showed from our first game last week was a massive improvement."
