Falkirk boss Steven Pressley has made former Rugby Town left-back Luke Leahy his first signing of the summer.
Rugby are linked with the Strachan Football Foundation, a non-profit making company run by former Celtic manager Gordon Strachan, and had Leahy on their books as a full-time apprentice.
The 19-year-old had trials at Birmingham, Bradford and Peterborough before being snapped up by Pressley. The full-back is a like-for-like replacement for Tam Scobbie.
"Luke's a talented lad and he could go a long way in the game. I've known him quite a while and he's got a positive attitude. We all wish him well in this new challenge," Rugby boss Dave Stringer said.
