Former Partick Thistle skipper Danny Lennon has expressed his delight at the Jags strong start to the season.
Jackie McManara's men currently sit second in the Scottish first division, level on points with leaders Dunfermline, and have carried their form into the Ramsdens Cup, beating Cowdenbeath on Sunday to earn a place in the final against Queen of the South. St Mirren boss Lennon admits he's been delighted by the Jags improvement and believes its only a matter of time before they reach their former heights. "It's fantastic to see my old club doing well. I've fond memories of my time there," he said. "One thing that I will say is that you don't realise just how big a club Partick Thistle are until you are away from the place. Thistle are a club with a really passionate support ."
