Marc McNulty scored a hat-trick as Livingston recorded the biggest win in their history with an incredible 8-0 victory over Stranraer.
The Lions went through to the third round of the Scottish Communities League Cup in style as they annihilated their Second Division opponents, with 19-year-old McNulty taking the match ball home from Stair Park. McNulty set up Jordan Morton to begin the scoring after 17 minutes and the away side romped to victory from then on. McNulty added his first six minutes later and Iain Russell made it 3-0 at half-time with a powerful strike from inside the box. Kevin McCann added a fourth after the hour mark and McNulty grabbed his second goal of the game moments later when he converted Robert Barr's cross from close range. Three goals in the last ten minutes, one each for Mortin, Mcnulty and Russel, took Livingston's tally to eight as the First Division club recorded the biggest win in the club's history.
