McDougall signs for sons
Scottish Division 1,
Dumbarton have added former Airdrie United and Dunfermline attacking midfielder Steven McDougall to their ranks ahead of next season.
The 26-year-old started his career with Rangers and spent eight years in their youth system before joining the Diamonds in 2004. He played in over 125 games for Airdrie before moving to the Pars in 2009, where he played a vital role as Jim McIntyre's side won the First Division before spending last season in the SPL. Sons boss Alan Adamson said, "I am delighted to have added another player with considerable experience to our squad. Steven will provide pace as well as craft to our attack and I look forward to him joining us for pre-season."
