McGlynn stays at Rovers
Scottish Division 1,
Raith manager John McGlynn has signed a new one-year deal at the club after guiding Rovers to First Division safety.
The 50-year-old, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the season, will also take direct charge of the youth academy.
McGlynn joined Raith in 2006 and guided the club to promotion in his second full season at the helm. He narrowly missed out on a place in the top flight last season and has seen his side struggle this term.
Despite a below-par campaign, the Rovers board have kept faith with the former Hearts caretaker boss.
Director Turnbull Hutton said: "We are all delighted that John has agreed to stay with the club. No-one works harder than John - he knows the club, the people, the challenges and the constraints. We are lucky to have him."
