Partick Thistle boss Jackie McNamara was delighted after his red-hot outfit registered their sixth successive win at the weekend.
The First Division pacesetters were always in control against basement boys Dumbarton at Firhill Stadium on Saturday.
Kris Doolan opened the scoring on 18 minutes before Chris Erskine and Stuart Banniga made the game safe in the second half.
"Our fans have expectations already and it pleases me they're happy but let's keep our feet on the ground," said McNamara.
"I'm delighted with the results but what thrills me is our exciting football."
Partick will look to continue their impressive early-season form when they travel to Hamilton in the Scottish League Cup second round on Tuesday.
