McNamara wants early business
Scottish Division 1,
Partick Thistle boss Jackie McNamara says he is already preparing for next season despite only finishing the campaign on Saturday.
The Jags drew 2-2 at Hamilton in their final league game of the season at the weekend and McNamara has already started his summer dealings, signing defender Conrad Balatoni and striker Mark McGuigan on new two-year deals. A number of Partick's key players are set to depart Firhill in the next few weeks and the boss is understandably keen to get ahead of the competition, by bringing in some new faces as soon as possible. "There's quite a bit to be sorted out in the next few weeks but getting Conrad and Mark signed up is a good start," he said. "We have players we want to bring into the club and others we want to extend their contracts and I want to get things done early."
