Hamilton Accies striker Jon McShane has been told that he will only be out for a month as his injury is not as bad as was first feared.
Manager Billy Reid is actually delighted, as the club feared he would be missing for a lot longer due to a knee injury. The former St Mirren striker was sent for a scan last Tuesday with the First Division side fearing that the 21-year-old's season was over. However, Reid was delighted to hear that was not the case. He said: "We were bracing ourselves to be told Jon was out long term so missing him for the next month is disappointing but certainly not as disappointing as it could have been."
