Morton boss sets duo return date

Morton boss Allan Moore has revealed that experienced duo Martin Hardie and Kevin Rutkiewicz are closing in on a return to action.

Hardie hasn't played since injuring his foot during a pre-season friendly, while Rutkiewicz has been out of the first-team after undergoing knee surgery earlier this month. However, they're now back in full training and Moore has pencilled them in to start in his side's first match after the upcoming intentional break against their former club Dunfermline. "They're still a couple of weeks away but they're training harder every day and the signs are very encouraging and hopefully they'll be back for Dunfermline," he said.
