Murray set for Raith post

Raith Rovers defender Grant Murray is on the brink of being named player/manager of the club.

The Fife outfit are determined to find a replacement for John McGlynn, who was appointed Hearts manager last week, as soon as possible with pre-season training already in full swing. The 36-year-old, who joined the club in 2009, has already held initial talks with the Raith board, with the discussions said to have been very positive and the Kirkcaldy club expect to make the appointment in midweek.
