Hamilton Accies have signed defender Jonathan Page on a one-month loan from Lanarkshire neighbours Motherwell.

Page, 22, has fallen out of favour at Fir Park and has made just one SPL appearance for Stuart McCall's side so far this season. The defender hopes that a spell of first-team football at Hamilton will be enough to get him into the Motherwell frame, despite only making 22 appearances for the club since his debut in July 2009. "I am hoping to get at least four or five games in the month period with the aim of trying to get back playing at the level I feel I should be," he said. "I've played a few games here at Motherwell this season but you can't beat the feeling of playing week in and week out so that's something I am really looking forward to. "This First Division is a really good league with a number of excellent teams." Page could feature for Hamilton when they face Dunfermline in Division One on Saturday afternoon.
