Dunfermline have completed the signing of former Blackpool midfielder Stephen Husband on a free transfer.
Husband signs a two-year deal at East End Park after impressing Jim Jefferies in pre-season training and friendlies, following his release from Blackpool at the end of last term. The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Cowdenbeath and Hearts before moving to Blackpool where he made just three first-team appearances in two years, gaining more experience during a brief loan spell at Stockport County. But Jefferies is delighted with the Pars' newest recruit and the impact he has had already in pre-season. He said: "I knew a wee bit about Stephen before he joined us for pre-season but I had not worked with him before. He came in to join us and I have liked what I have seen. He is only 21 but he plays like a very mature 21 year old."
