Pars swoop for youngsters
Scottish Division 1,
Dunfermline boss Jim Jefferies is closing in on a double swoop as he aims to bolster next season's promotion charge.
Jefferies revealed Arbroath midfielder Josh Falkingham and East Fife striker Ryan Wallace have agreed in principle to a move to the Pars.
The Dunfermline chief admitted he is turning to youth in a bid to return to the SPL at the first time of asking.
"We have spoken to the boys and terms are not a problem. They are 21-years-old and fit the remit of the younger players we're looking to bring in," said Jefferies.
"They are young and their clubs don't want to hold them back. They are out of contract so there are compensation issues which we are trying to resolve so we are hopeful of getting it done."
