Pars take Husband on trial

Dunfermline Athletic have taken midfielder Stephen Husband on trial for their pre-season campaign.

Jim Jeffries will take a look at the former Blackpool man, who was released at the end of last season, in action before deciding whether or not to offer him a permanent deal at East End Park.
The 21-year-old started his career at Cowdenbeath before joining Hearts in 2007 where he spent a short period of time on loan at Livingston. Husband, who was born in Fife, joined Blackpool two years ago for £25,000 but only made three first-team appearances under Ian Holloway and was loaned out by the club to then League Two side Stockport County where he scored two goals in five appearances.
