Falkirk boss Steven Pressley insists his side are more than ready for Saturday's derby against Dunfermline Athletic.
The Bairns host Dunfermline at The Falkirk Stadium and Pressley is eyeing a confidence-boosting win in a bid to boost his side's stuttering start to the season.
"The players are in a determined mood," Pressley told the Falkirk Herald.
"They need no reminding of the importance of the game to the club and to the supporters.
"We want to win every game we play, but there's no doubt that a victory in a derby game can give the place an enormous lift. It could act as the catalyst to kick-start our season."
Falkirk, who have drawn their last three First Division matches, are currently eighth in the table after seven games.
Dunfermline meanwhile are looking to close the gap on league leaders Partick Thistle, who have a one-point lead over Jim Jefferies' side at the top.
