Raith chairman slams SFA plans
Scottish Division 1,
Raith chairman Turnbull Hutton has hit out at the tactics being used by the SFA and SPL in their bid to sort out the future of Rangers.
Following the Gers being voted out of the SPL, plans were recently leaked stating that they would be allowed to join the Scottish First Division, regardless of whether any of the clubs agreed to the proposal.
Hutton is understandably disgruntled at the news and has accused the authorities of 'blackmailing and bullying' teams into accepting the terms.
"There's a big issue with Rangers, but the Rangers meltdown has got nothing whatsoever to do with the First Division clubs, it's never been our problem," he said.
"If we are now at the stage of bending rules, accommodating, threatening and blackmailing we want to give it up."
