Reid expects further improvement

Billy Reid believes his young Hamilton team are now starting to find their form after claiming their first win of the season.

Reid has been subjected to plenty of criticism for his decision to rely on the club's academy products this season, but he has stuck to his guns and was rewarded as his side sealed their first three points of the season against Airdrie on Saturday. The 49-year-old was understandably delighted with the 4-0 victory and believes his side will only get better after breaking their duck. "I have always believed in what we do at the football club; we produce players, and we will do it again," he said. "The icing on the cake is obviously to score goals and win football matches but it takes a bit of time to gel it together."
