Ryan on schedule to return

Hamilton Academicals' promising young striker Andy Ryan is on target to return from injury in the near future.

The young forward was stretchered off in in an SPL under-20 game against Ross County three weeks ago is bang on the schedule given to him for a return to action. Ryan was told he would be out for up to six weeks after ligament damage and he was happy to provide an update, saying: "Everything has went well and I will be back in the least 2 and the most 3 weeks. I cannot wait to get going again."
