Greenock Morton will play Albion Rovers in the third round of the Scottish Cup.

The two sides have already been drawn against each other once this season after going head-to-head in the Scottish Challenge Cup on the opening day of the season. Tony Wallace and David O'Brien scored the goals in that match as Morton ran out 2-0 winners at Cappielow and Allan Moore's side will be favourites going into the third round cup tie at Cliftonhill. Morton are currently third in the First Division following their 3-2 win at Airdrie United on Saturday. Albion are seventh in the Second Division just two points above bottom club Stranraer after winning just two of their opening seven league games. Elsewhere in the draw Partick Thistle host Cove Rangers, Raith Rovers travel to Airdrie, Selkirk or Vale of Leithen make the drip to Cowdenbeath and Dumbarton face East Stirlingshire.
