Walker set for Sons return
Scottish Division 1,
Dumbarton are set to be handed a major boost following striker Pat Walker's return to full training.
The 28-year-old picked-up an ankle injury during a pre-season clash with St Mirren and has been unable to train with the rest of the Sons' first team due to a number of setbacks.
However, he has now returned to full training and boss Alan Adamson is looking forward to having the striker back at his disposal.
"It has been a hard shift for Pat as he has missed out on playing in the First Division for the first time in his career so far," he said. "He got an hour in last Thursday before having to stop as he was feeling a bit of pain but he can now step things up and start targeting reserve games to get him match fit."
