Airdrie United manager Jimmy Boyle says his side are determined to beat Cowdenbeath next week and make the Second Division play-offs.
The Diamonds moved closer to securing a top-four finish with a 2-0 win over rivals East Rife on Saturday but must now better Stenhousemuir's result on the final day of the season. Airdrie sit just above the Warriors with a two goal better goal difference and face a tough test in their last game with a trip to league leaders Cowdenbeath while Stenhousemuir play eighth-placed Forfar at home. But Boyle insists his side are more than up to the task. He said: "It's a massive match for us next week as they'll be lifting the trophy on their own ground. They'll want to put on a show for their supporters but we have to go there and make sure we spoil the party."
