Airdrie keep hold of Watt

Airdrie United manager Jimmy Boyle has moved to tie Diamonds' under-19 midfield starlet Liam Watt to the club for another season.

The youngster has been put on the Airdrie bench recently and he has also made a couple of substitute appearances for the club, as the team look to clinch a play-off place.
Watt has been placed on full professional terms for the new season with Boyle saying, "Liam has impressed me at under-19 level and with his attitude when he was on the bench for the first team in the last couple of weeks."
