Albion have confirmed that new boss Todd Lumsden has decided to appoint James Ward as his assistant at Cliftonhill.

Ward previously worked at Alloa and comes with plenty of experience, having spent time at both Fulham and Crystal Palace. The experienced coach also holds a Uefa 'A' coaching licence and Lumsden is understandably delighted to have brought in someone with so much knowledge about the game. "I got to know James when I was a player at Hamilton a few years ago and he was coaching there. He moved up to be an assistant manager at Alloa and gained loads of experience in that role in the five years he was there," he said. "He is well known and well respected in football circles and I am sure our players will enjoy working with him."
