Forfar sign duo

Forfar have secured the services of Brechin City midfielder Charlie King and Arbroath striker Gavin Swankie.

Former St Johnstone and Livingston player King leaves Glebe Park after 11 years at the club after originally being signed by current Forfar boss Dick Campbell. The 32-year-old was given a testimonial by Brechin before being released at the end of last season and he has agreed a one year deal with his new club. Striker Swankie was in his third spell as a Gayfield player and he has also had stints at Dundee and St. Johnstone. He has agreed a two year deal with the Station Park side. Just 12 months ago, Swankie was voted the SFL Third Division Player of the Year when his goals helped Arbroath win their first League championship.
