Hill agrees new Arbroath deal

Arbroath have announced that goalkeeper Darren Hill has signed a new deal at Gayfield Park, ending speculation on his future.

The 31-year-old joined the Red Lichties in January 2008 from East Stirling and has played almost 200 games for the club. Hill was an ever-present for manager Paul Sheerin last season as the side narrowly missed out on promotion and the boss is understandably delighted that the the former Falkirk man has decided to stay. "Darren has been a regular fixture in our starting eleven since I started here two years ago and I am delighted that he will be back again next season," Sheerin said.
