Albion boss Todd Lumsden has revealed his delight at the appointment of James Ward as his assistant manager.

The former Clyde, Hamilton and Alloa coach will work alongside Lumsden next season as part of the club's coaching staff. Lumsden says he is looking forward to working with one of his old mentors. "We have known each other for a long time so that is good from my point of view. I played under Allan [Maitland] and James at Hamilton so it's great to get him on board," said Lumsden. "He knows the game really well and is a bubbly character. James will provide an important link between the dressing room and the coaching team and I'm delighted he'll be with us."
